John Sullivan (more commonly known as Sullivan's John) is a student at Gunnerkrigg Court. He appears occasionally throughout the comic, usually in a classroom or school setting. He accompanied his classmates when they broke curfew to watch the power station experiment. He apparently plays the lute and resonator guitar.[1] He and Margo seem to have a romantic interest in each other.
